Contribution forms
AHEC competes with more than 40 other agricultural commodity groups for funding from the USDA  based on a series of evaluation criteria, and of those contribution levels and success stories are considered two of the most important. In order to maintain our funding levels it is crucial that we are able to document the hardwood industry's commitment to exporting and participation in AHEC promotional programs. We need to demonstrate that the industry is willing to put its own resources behind exporting, and we are required to show a minimum of 80 cents of industry “contributions” for each $1.00 of taxpayer money we receive.  These contributions are not cash contributions to AHEC, rather they the resources that each individual company puts toward exporting.Contribution Forms detail your export-related expenditures (overseas office/staff costs, sales trips, trade shows) as well as costs incurred by attending AHEC events (plane tickets, trade show costs, attending member's meetings, employee time, etc.).Success Stories are short descriptions of how AHEC programs have helped your business in a quantifiable way (ideally - value of sales from AHEC events, jobs created through opening a new facility, long-term impacts, etc. Your company name is not needed, but city and state should be included so they can reach the appropriate Congressional district. It's crucial that we have your support to continue AHEC programs. To the right you can download the Contribution Level Form and Success Stories Template and send them to tpryor@ahec.org. All information received through these forms is confidential.

2025 Form 2 Contribution - Total Overhead Cost

This form covers expenses like international offices or staff as well as the salaries of domestic staff that focus part or all of their time on exports. One of the simplest ways to calculate this value is to take a portion of your total overhead expenses equal to the export percentage of your total sales. For example, if 40% of your total sales are export, you can report 40% of your total company overhead expenses in this form.
